Our aim is to educate regenerative & sustainable solutions through Permaculture Design Principles & Practices, affording you the opportunity to either begin or extend your Gardening, Homesteading & Permaculture knowledge, through our comprehensive courses & workshops that will give you the tools to create from the soil up.
Brett Cooper of Limestone Permaculture
Brett is a certified Carpenter & Joiner, a Heritage Restoration Builder of 20 years with Diploma's in 'Management' & 'Project Management'.
Currently in Building Management with a thorough knowledge of urban & rural domestic construction, passive building systems & landscaping construction .
From an 'urban permaculture' background including ‘Mayfield Community Gardens Coordinator’, a committee member of ‘Permaculture Hunter’ (2008/2009) & a presenter of his own urban property design & experiences called ‘The Urban Squeeze’ before moving to the beautiful ‘Stroud Valley’ with wife & family in 2010.
Brett completed his 'Permaculture Design Certificate' with Allyn River Permaculture & Certified with the Permaculture Research Institue Australia at Gloucester Tucker Patch.
Brett specialises in intensive naturally grown produce & practical animal management systems for the rural and urban homesteader.
As a Permaculture principled small acre farm & demonstration site, Limestone Farm has been designed with a range of functioning systems including working swales, terrace market gardens, hybrid shade house & hot house, seed saving & propagation, wet area edibles, walk-in netted market garden tunnels, micro-climate sub-tropical zones, espaliered stone fruit orchard & natural animal management which compliment every aspect of our workshops and courses.
