About the Event
In Permaculture, animals are of the utmost importance for maintaining the balance on your Urban or Rural Homestead!
Learn how each species connects & relates to each other & to their surrounding environment, understand selection and management of different types of animals in a permaculture design.
Understand the roles of poultry, bees, pigs, goats, sheep & rabbits and their integration into your farm & homestead garden.
Learn to utilise animals in a caring way, whether you breed for food, friendship or income, they can earn their keep too and assist you in the garden, such as insect and weed control, naturally fertilise, act as property guards & recycle green waste.
We will discuss the benefits and difficulties of free range animal management and how to supply them feed from your garden.
